As part of the project "Young People Choose Health: View Recognize Change", Pula Youth Centre launches a customized cycle of educational workshops intended for students of the School of Education Pula, in cooperation with Kino Valli and Medical School Pula.
Educational program for students of the School of Education through film, dialogue and peer support

The activities begin with the screening of the film “Big Life” in Cinema Valla, and then continue with an educational and interactive workshop at Pula Youth Centre.
What makes this component of the project even more valuable is the inclusion of students from the Medical School Pula as a general care nurse/technician, who will, in addition to mentoring their teachers, actively participate in the preparation and implementation of workshops on proper nutrition and prevention of obesity. This encourages intergenerational and peer learning, developing empathy and connecting young people from different educational and social contexts.
Workshop topics include:
- The basics of proper nutrition
- Identifying unhealthy habits
- importance of movement and hydration
- Relationship with the body and self-confidence
- emotional eating and recognizing emotions
- The importance of supporting family and friends
Project objectives:
